For care staff

Do you run group sessions or care for people at home? Then this page is for you.

Rimado offers sudoku and word search puzzles to print. The sheets are large, clearly laid out and black and white. They print well even on simple printers.

The puzzles work well for activities for seniors, in adult day centers and in nursing homes. They also suit community groups, libraries and visits to relatives.

Several puzzles at once: the puzzle pack

With the puzzle pack, you combine 5, 10 or 20 puzzles into one file. You choose the type, level and language.

The answers go at the end of the pack or into a separate file. This way, you can hand out the puzzles and keep the answers yourself.

How a group session can work

  • To settle in: a very easy word search on a familiar topic, such as the garden or the kitchen.
  • Main part: everyone picks their own level. Anyone who wants to can work in pairs.
  • To finish: compare the answers together and talk about the topic.

Mixing levels

Every puzzle shows its level on the sheet. For sudoku, “very easy” means every number can be found directly, without notes. In a very easy word search, words only run across.

This way everyone in the group gets a sheet that suits them.

Copying is allowed

You may print and copy the puzzles as often as you like for your organization. This also applies to clubs and private groups. Reselling is not allowed.
